My story
I'm an illustrator and visual storyteller with a background in literature. My work translates atmosphere, memory, and rhythm into image - sometimes layered, sometimes minimal, always precise.
I work fast and intuitively.
“I trust the moment and work fast. The speed is important -
I feel like the work remains more alive that way.”
- from my sketchbook notes
My illustrations have been featured in publications such as The Guardian, De Morgen, Scientific American, and The Washington Post. Clients value me for my ability to tune into subtle tones and translate them into visuals that stick.
In each project, I attune to both the subject and the client - I aim to capture what lives between the lines. Clients come to me for images that invite reflection, both intellectual and emotional.
I like to explore the in-between: poetic visuals for clear ideas, and clear images for poetic thoughts. Each drawing becomes a trace - of thought, of story, of experience.
- from studio journal, 2022
Whether it’s a single image or a full narrative series, I create with focus and flow.
